A new research unit at Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A.

Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A has officially lunched its Application and Development Laboratory (A&D Laboratory). It will significantly strengthen the company’s research and development potential. The total investment amounted PLN 13 million, of which PLN 2.8 million has been financed by EU development funds.

The A&D Lab consists of two buildings which have been adapted for the purpose of the project. The first one is dedicated to samples preparation (formulations of plastics and plasticizers manufactured by OXO Segment) and the second is intended for application and performance tests. The Lab is fully equipped with high quality, top of the top 8 million worth equipment which will be operated by highly qualified and trained staff.

– The Application and Development Laboratory gives us the opportunity develop production processes and chemicals in a laboratory scale, and perform advanced tests. The new research unit will be mainly focused on developing OXO Segment’s product portfolio.
