It was a great opportunity to discuss current situation on European plasticizer market with a special emphasis on the regulatory situation of phthalate plasticizers. The JPIA Association has supported the ATF for years, including hard work on the Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A.’s And DEZA’s application for DEHP authorisation.

JPIA, in cooperation with the American and European plasticizer industry, is conducting long-term studies to analyse and prove safety of plasticizers, including DEHP. Multiannual product safety analysis and the experience of the Japanese industry are reflected in our DEHP Authorization dossier and in the ongoing decision-making process for the granting of DEHP authorization to Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. and Deza.
