Representative of Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. became chairman of the Communications Working Group at European Plasticisers.

Brussels based, European Plasticisers, made changes to its chairmanship structure, resulting in splitting the Advocacy and Communications Working Group into two separate groups. The General Assembly of European Plasticisers elected Maciej Budner as chairman of the Communications Working Group. Substantive support will be provided by employees of the Strategy Office and the Organic Products Development Office of Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A.

Maciej Budner has nearly 15 years of experience in the field of marketing. He held various management positions at Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. Currently, as part of the Segment Oxoplast®, he is responsible for the development of business relationships with the market and the development of ester products, including plasticisers.

As the chairman of the Communications Working Group he will have the opportunity to use his backround in plasticiser applications in everyday life, developed by long-term work with partners of Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. – As Chair of the Communication WG, I will guide our members to fulfill our mission and vision by promoting the benefits of all plasticisers and their applications. We will work even more closely together to convey the united message of an association which is able to represent the members and the substances they produce – announces Budner.

European Plasticisers is a trade association representing chemical companies producing about 85% of the plasticisers manufactured in Europe. With a focus on science and safety, European Plasticisers provides valuable input to regulatory authorities, non-government organisations and consumer groups and is proactive in contributing and encouraging dialogue between these stakeholders.
